Founder & Commercial Lead
I started bearingline. because I kept seeing the same problem.
Strong technology. Real potential. But no clear commercial angle, no buyer-aligned narrative, and no structured path to proving value.
Investors were cautious. Enterprise buyers were hesitant. Progress stalled.
I’d seen enough of these situations to know the gap was fixable.
That is what bearingline. does.
My background is in enterprise technology sales and commercial leadership. I spent nearly a decade at Gartner advising CXOs across energy, manufacturing and aerospace, then held sales leadership roles at Google Cloud, Cisco and Microsoft — running teams, managing complex enterprise relationships, and driving multi million revenue across AI, cloud, security and infrastructure.
Earlier in my career, I held commercial and growth roles at a fast-scaling startup business and also co-founded one of the UK’s first Human Computer Interaction practices.
I have also built a business from scratch. That gives me a different perspective on what commercial reality actually looks like at the early stage.
What that means in practice is simple: I know how large enterprise buyers think, what they underwrite, and what kills deals before they start. I have been in those rooms — selling, advising, and sitting alongside the people your technology needs to win over.
bearingline. is deliberately focused. I work with a small number of companies and investors at any one time. Where an engagement needs specialist depth — pricing, finance, partnerships, or board-level technology strategy — I draw on a trusted network of senior operators and associates.
